Finding work in the construction industry has been difficult of late but it can be done. Remove anything that would give an employer a reason not to hire you and always remember to follow up with a phone call or email to help put you at the front of the line.

Using a variety of strategies can also help. An alternate strategy might be to reach out to your professional network. Being referred to a business forms a powerful opinion and holds a lot of weight. Think of it like a good review of a restaurant or film. The review helps to reduce the risk involved in investing time and resources (money) in that restaurant or film.
